POTBOI part IV

Aaaah, it sure is a pirate’s life for me. It’s days like these that made me want to be a pirate in the first place. Just lazing around, underneath the summer sun, not a care in the world. There are many opportunities for having a good time on these days, including drinking rum, (a favourite pastime of Bartender Jess’) sun baking, (a favourite pastime of Dr. Mango’s) and fishing, which everyone except Captain Heather enjoys.

Sarah sat down upon her bed for the 100th consecutive night, and yes she had been counting. She never knew she could have made it that far in the Pirates of the Bay of Islad crew.
The opinions of others that she received from local gossips about the POTBOI crew weren’t very positive at all. They spoke of how they were extremely fussy with recruiting members, and not exactly fair either. It was a pity, she thought, because she herself considered applying for a job there. POTBOI part VI“Dr. Mango, come quick! Something’s wrong with Sarah!” Amy said, eyes full of concern.
It was about half past midnight, when Amy ran into Dr. Mango and my cabin, shouting deliriously at a half-asleep Dr. Mango. “She’s coughing heaps, and she talks all faint to me and stuff.” Amy said seriously. Dr. Mango replied professionally, “I’ll come and take a look.”
I waited as Dr. Mango and Amy went to see Sarah in her cabin. I heard the others stirring in their cabins, apparently sensing that something bad was afoot.

POTBOI part V“I’m so glad you guys are back now.” Dr. Mango said cheerfully to Sarah and Amy. “Aww… thanks Dr. Mango.” Amy said. “Yeah,” Dr. Mango continued, “I really hate doing maintenance chores, and so now you’re both back, you can do them for us!” “Aww… thanks Dr. Mango.” Sarah said sarcastically.
The safe return of Sarah and Amy, and the complete success of Captain Heather’s plan was a perfect excuse for an all-night party. Bartender Jess kept the drinks rolling, Cookie made the most delicious party food, and C.C. Nav and lookout Angie entertained us with their music, Captain Heather with her dancing.
